Sha Gojyo is one of the main protagonists in the anime and manga series Saiyuki. He is a half-demon known for his striking red hair and eyes, which mark him as an outcast. Gojyo has a brash, flirtatious personality but is fiercely loyal to his friends. He wields a shakujou (staff with a sickle and chain) in battle and joins the journey to the west alongside Genjo Sanzo, Son Goku, and Cho Hakkai, acting as both comic relief and a steadfast companion.
