Privacy policy

Personal Information: When you register on our site, we collect your username, email address, and password (encrypted).

User Content: Any content you post, including pictures of your anime figures.

Analytics Data: We use Google Analytics to collect data about how you interact with our website. This may include information about your device, browser, and browsing behavior. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies.

Provide Services: To create and manage your account, provide customer support, and improve our services.

Communication: To send you emails about your account and your collection. What these contain, and how to turn them off, is described in section 3.

Analytics: To analyze site usage and improve our website.

Every email below is set off by something you did on the site, so each one should be about a figure you already care about. We do not run a mailing list. Each type names the thing that triggers it:

Price drops on your wishlist: you added a figure to your wishlist and it fell in price. You decide which figures these are by wishlisting them, and removing a figure stops the alerts for it.

Price alerts you set: you asked to be told when a particular figure reached a particular price, and it did. Deleting the alert stops it.

Your summary: a periodic version of the same idea. Price moves on figures you follow, new releases in series you already collect, and a recap of your own collection. It has its own switch, separate from the alerts above.

Account and service messages: sign-in codes, password resets and similar. These are not optional, because they are how the account works.

What we never do: we do not buy, sell, rent or share your email address, we do not send mail on behalf of other companies, and we do not email people who do not have an account.

Turning them off: every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe that your mail app can use directly, and a link to a preferences page where you can switch each type on or off individually without signing in. The same controls are in your account settings, and you can switch everything off there the day you register if you would rather we did not write at all.

Links in emails: links in these emails pass through our own redirect so we can see which content is useful and stop sending what is not. This records that a link was clicked and when. It is not shared with the destination site beyond the normal act of visiting it.

Third-Party Services: We use a small number of providers to run the site: Google Analytics for aggregate usage statistics, Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used including mouse movement, clicks and scrolling so we can find broken layouts, Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots, and Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare for hosting and delivery. These providers process data on our behalf and may do so outside the European Union.
