Overview
Naofumi Iwatani is the protagonist of the anime series 'Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari' (The Rising of the Shield Hero). Initially an ordinary otaku, he is summoned to a parallel world as the Shield Hero, one of four legendary heroes tasked with saving the world from calamity. Unlike the other heroes, Naofumi is met with betrayal and hardship, leading him to rely on his wits and resilience. His character evolves from a naive young man into a determined and resourceful hero, seeking justice and protection for his companions and the world.
