The last few months have been the busiest in MyFigureList history. We didn't just add features, we rebuilt the entire website and the mobile app from the ground up. Every single page you visit today, from the homepage to the smallest settings screen, has been redesigned with one goal: making it faster and more enjoyable to browse, track and share your collection.
Here is everything that's new.
A brand new design, everywhere
Every page on the website and every screen in the Android app has been reworked with a new design language: cleaner cards, better spacing, a softer color palette, and layouts that actually make sense on every screen size.

Some highlights of the redesign:
- Homepage: featured figures, trending, price drops, the new release calendar, community threads and the live activity feed, all in one place without feeling crowded
- Figure pages: bigger galleries, clearer price history, shop links, and all the info you need above the fold
- Community, profiles, albums and galleries: rebuilt cards and layouts that put photos first

The app got the same treatment. If you used it before, you won't recognize it (in a good way).

Dark mode is finally here
This one has been requested since day one. MyFigureList now has a full dark mode, on the website and in the app. One toggle in the navbar switches everything: pages, cards, charts, even the small stuff like skeleton loaders and badges.

Your choice is remembered across visits, and the app follows it too.
Sign in with Google
Creating an account or logging in is now one tap. Google sign-in works on the website and natively in the Android app.
Already have an account? If you registered with an email and password using a Gmail address, your account has been automatically linked: you can now sign in with Google one tap, even if you never used it before. Same account, same collection, just faster.
First time signing up? You pick your own username before anything is created, so no weird auto-generated names. Your Google account is only used to log you in, nothing is ever posted anywhere.
And once you're in, you stay in. We completely reworked session handling, so being logged in on your phone and your PC at the same time just works, without random logouts.
Figure tags, done properly
Every figure in the database now has tags: outfit, pose, expression, accessories, and more. You'll find them on every figure page, and tapping any tag instantly searches for figures that share it.
The important part: these tags are generated by our system, not typed in by hand. That means they're consistent across the entire database. The same outfit is always called the same thing, on all 100,000+ figures. If you've used other figure sites, you know how messy user-submitted tags can get: five different spellings for the same thing, missing tags on half the catalog, and so on. Ours are uniform, complete, and searchable from day one.

Clickable Tags
This is just the start. The same system will power better search, recommendations and filtering in the coming months.
The app grew up: version 2.0
The Android app jumped to 2.0 and it's a big one:
- Every view redesigned, matching the new website look, dark mode included
- The app updates itself. New features and fixes now arrive silently in the background, no Play Store update needed for most changes
- Native Google login, one tap with the accounts already on your phone
- A proper welcome screen for new users instead of dropping you in cold

Manage Figure Screen - Mobile App
Your collection, in numbers
Profile pages got more than a facelift. Your profile now shows real stats about your collection: how many figures you own, like and wish for, your average rating, and the total value of your collection based on current market prices.
There are also new charts breaking down your collection by series, brand and character, so you can finally prove that yes, half your shelf really is one franchise.
Content Level: you choose what you see
Everyone collects differently, so there's now a Content Level setting on your account. Keep it SFW with General, allow Suggestive, or open up everything. The whole site respects your choice, from search results to galleries and the activity feed.
New accounts also get a redesigned onboarding that sets this up in seconds, along with your language and newsletter preferences.
One note for app users: to stay aligned with store policies, the mobile app does not offer certain content levels. For the full range of settings, use the website.
The database keeps growing
Numbers time. The MyFigureList database has doubled in size since the beginning of the year:
- 100,000+ figures tracked, with new ones added automatically every few hours
- 2.4 million+ price entries across shops, powering price history and deal alerts
- 700,000+ images, all tagged by our system
And there's something bigger coming: we're testing a community contribution system with a small group of users right now. It lets collectors add missing figures directly to the database themselves, with the same data quality checks our automated system uses. Early results are honestly better than we hoped, contributions are fast, clean, and accurate. If testing keeps going this well, it will open up to everyone soon.

A dozen small things you'll notice
- A better fullscreen image viewer: tap any photo to browse the whole gallery fullscreen, with smooth swiping on mobile
- Image uploads are way faster: photos are now compressed on your device before upload, so sharing your collection doesn't eat your mobile data
- Camera or gallery, your choice: when adding photos in the app, pick between taking a picture on the spot or choosing one from your gallery
- Release calendar on the homepage: see what comes out this month at a glance
- Better price drop cards: deal gauges and trend badges show you how good a deal actually is
- Cleaner activity feed: when someone updates 10 figures at once, you see one card instead of 10
- Little touches everywhere: like animations, avatar fallbacks, better empty states, and dozens of dark mode refinements
What's next
We're not slowing down. The next update is already built and in testing: a full notification system, so you'll know instantly when someone replies to you, when a figure on your wishlist drops in price, and when your wished figures are about to release. Keep an eye out.
Until then, come tell us what you think of V2 on our Discord, and if you're enjoying MyFigureList, the best way to support us is to share it with a fellow collector.
Happy collecting!
