Overview
Redman is a Japanese tokusatsu mini-series created by Tsuburaya Productions and first broadcast in 1972. It follows a mysterious red superhero who battles a wide variety of monsters in short standalone episodes. The show is notable for its simple, repetitive format and for featuring many suit actors and monster designs later reused in other Tsuburaya productions. Although obscure outside Japan, Redman has become a cult favorite among tokusatsu fans for its raw, early-1970s style.
