Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru is a romantic comedy anime series that follows Ayumu Tanaka, a high school student and shogi enthusiast, who decides to confess his feelings to his senpai, Urushi Yaotome, only after he manages to defeat her in a game of shogi. Despite his determination, Ayumu constantly struggles to win against Urushi, leading to humorous and sweet interactions between the two as their relationship develops.
