King Kong no Gyakushu

Overview

King Kong no Gyakushu is the Japanese title for the 1967 kaiju film known in English as King Kong Escapes. It follows King Kong as he is cloned by the villainous Doctor Who and forced into conflict with Mechani-Kong, a robotic duplicate built to mine a rare element. The story mixes monster action, adventure, and science fiction, and is one of Toho’s most famous King Kong-related productions.
