Gojira tai Hedora is the original Japanese title of the 1971 kaiju film commonly known in English as Godzilla vs. Hedorah, or Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster. It is a standalone entry in Toho’s Godzilla film series, directed by Yoshimitsu Banno. The film is notable for its environmental themes, surreal imagery, and experimental style, which make it one of the more unusual Godzilla movies in the franchise.
