Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G is the enhanced, expanded version of Monster Hunter Portable 2nd for PlayStation Portable. It is part of Capcom's Monster Hunter action RPG series and is known outside Japan as Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Players hunt large monsters, craft weapons and armor, and progress through quests solo or with others. The game adds new monsters, equipment, quests, and gameplay refinements over the original release, making it the definitive portable version of that generation.
