Infinite Stratos is a Japanese light novel series written by Izuru Yumizuru. The story is set in a world where exoskeleton suits known as Infinite Stratos can only be piloted by women, with the exception of protagonist Ichika Orimura. The series follows his adventures at the IS Academy, an institution dedicated to training IS pilots. It explores themes of gender dynamics, technology, and competition. The anime adaptation was first released in 2011.
