High School Fleet, also known as Haifuri, is an anime series that follows the story of a group of high school girls training to become members of the Blue Mermaids, a naval defense organization. Set in an alternate world where most of Japan is submerged due to tectonic shifts, the series combines elements of adventure, comedy, and drama as the students navigate challenges on the high seas.
