Overview
SCP-173 is the designation for a mysterious and dangerous entity in the SCP Foundation universe. It resembles a crudely constructed statue made of concrete and rebar, with traces of spray paint. SCP-173 is known for its extreme hostility; it cannot move while within a direct line of sight, but will attack by snapping the neck of anyone who looks away or blinks. As the first entry in the SCP Foundation series, SCP-173 plays a pivotal role in establishing the unsettling tone and mythos of the SCP universe.
