Overview
Rumi Yokoi is the main protagonist of the anime and manga series 'Tonari no Seki-kun' (My Neighbor Seki). She is a diligent and earnest schoolgirl who sits next to the eccentric Seki-kun, who constantly creates elaborate distractions during class. Despite her attempts to focus on her studies, Rumi often finds herself drawn into Seki's antics, becoming both an unwilling accomplice and an amused observer. Her reactions and inner monologues provide much of the series' comedic charm.
