Overview
Ghost Pokemon, known as ゴースト ポケモン (Gōsuto Pokemon) in Japanese, is a fictional species appearing in the Pocket Monsters (Pokémon) series. Commonly referred to as 'Haunter' in the English localization, it is a Ghost/Poison-type Pokémon that first appeared in Generation I. Ghost is known for its mischievous personality and ability to phase through objects. In the series, it plays a significant role as one of the ghostly inhabitants of the Pokémon Tower in Lavender Town, often helping or hindering trainers during their journey.
