Overview
Miyo Takano is a central antagonist in the anime series Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When They Cry). She is a nurse at the Irie Clinic and is deeply involved in the mysterious events surrounding Hinamizawa. Driven by a personal obsession to prove her late grandfather's research on Hinamizawa Syndrome, Miyo manipulates various characters and orchestrates tragic events. Her complex motivations and tragic backstory make her one of the most pivotal and memorable figures in the series.
