Overview
Ledo Garland is the main protagonist of the anime series 'Suisei no Gargantia'. He is a young soldier from a distant, militaristic space-faring civilization known as the Galactic Alliance of Humankind. After a battle goes awry, Ledo is thrust through a wormhole and crash-lands on the water-covered Earth, where he encounters the peaceful inhabitants of the Gargantia fleet. Throughout the series, Ledo struggles to adapt to this unfamiliar world, learning about human connection, peace, and the value of life beyond warfare.
