Kobeni Yonomori is the main protagonist of the anime series Mikakunin de Shinkoukei, also known as Engaged to the Unidentified. She is a kind-hearted and caring high school girl who unexpectedly finds herself engaged to a mysterious boy named Hakuya Mitsumine. Kobeni is also the younger sister of Benio Yonomori, who is overly protective of her. Despite her initial shock and confusion about the engagement, Kobeni gradually learns more about Hakuya and his family's supernatural background, which plays a central role in the unfolding story.
