Heiji Hattori is a high school detective from Osaka, and a friend and rival of the series' protagonist, Shinichi Kudo (Conan Edogawa). Known for his Kansai accent and laid-back attitude, Heiji is exceptionally skilled in deduction and often collaborates with Conan on cases. His cheerful and confident demeanor hides a keen intellect and a strong sense of justice. Heiji plays a significant role in the series by providing support and insight into complex cases, while also serving as a bridge between Conan and his own identity as Shinichi Kudo.
