Overview
Mudkip is a Water-type Pokémon in the Pokémon series, also known as Pocket Monsters in Japan. It is the first-stage evolution and can evolve into Marshtomp and then into Swampert. Mudkip is recognized for its cute, amphibious appearance with a blue body, orange cheeks, and a large fin on its head. Known for its ability to sense approaching storms and predict weather changes, Mudkip is a popular choice among Pokémon trainers. In the series, Mudkip often exhibits a playful and loyal personality and is commonly chosen as a starter Pokémon in the Hoenn region.
