Gabriel Reyes, known by his alias Reaper, is a formidable character in the Overwatch universe. Once a founding member of the original Overwatch task force, Reyes became the leader of the covert ops division, Blackwatch. Over time, he grew disillusioned with Overwatch's leadership, leading to a bitter rivalry with Jack Morrison (Soldier: 76). After the fall of Overwatch, he reemerged as Reaper, a ruthless mercenary with the ability to manipulate shadows and wraith-like powers, often serving as an antagonist in the series.
