Ryouko Ookami is the main protagonist of the anime series 'Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi'. She is a strong-willed and independent high school girl who is part of the Otogi Bank, a club that assists students in exchange for future favors. Known for her fierce demeanor and sharp tongue, Ryouko is often compared to a wolf, which is reflected in her last name, 'Ookami', meaning wolf in Japanese. Despite her tough exterior, she is caring and protective of her friends, and gradually reveals her softer side as the series progresses.
