Ling Yao is a prince from the eastern nation of Xing in the anime series Fullmetal Alchemist. As the twelfth son of the Emperor of Xing, Ling is on a quest to discover the secret of immortality to secure his position as the next emperor. He is a skilled martial artist and possesses a strong sense of duty towards his people.
