Saki Yotarou is a central character in the anime series Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. He is a former yakuza member who finds a new purpose in life when he becomes enamored with the art of rakugo, a traditional form of Japanese storytelling. Under the tutelage of the esteemed rakugo master Yakumo Yurakutei, Yotarou (who is often referred to by his stage name) embarks on a journey of self-discovery and redemption. His character represents the themes of transformation and the pursuit of cultural heritage in the series.
