Syaoran Li is a key character in the anime series Cardcaptor Sakura. He is initially introduced as a rival to the protagonist, Sakura Kinomoto, in capturing the Clow Cards. Syaoran is a descendant of Clow Reed, the creator of the Clow Cards, and comes from a prestigious family of sorcerers in Hong Kong.
