Kirie Goshima is the protagonist of the horror manga series Uzumaki, written and illustrated by Junji Ito. Set in the fictional town of Kurouzu-cho, Kirie is a high school student who becomes entwined in a series of increasingly bizarre and horrifying events centered around spirals, which have a malevolent influence on the town and its inhabitants.
