Overview
ZUN is the pen name and public persona of Jun'ya Ota, the creator of the Touhou Project series rather than a fictional character within it. In Touhou, he is best known as the author, composer, and designer who established the setting, characters, music, and bullet-hell gameplay style of the franchise. Because ZUN is not an in-universe character with a canon surname or given name, his name is typically treated as a single mononym.
