Overview
Jiruo is a supporting character in Made in Abyss and a member of the orphanage in Orth. He is a stern, disciplined older boy who helps supervise and train the younger children, especially those preparing to become cave raiders. Jiruo is often serious and strict, but he also shows a protective side and cares about the safety of the children. He plays an important role in the early part of the series by helping establish the orphanage’s structure and the harsh realities of life around the Abyss.
