Overview
Akito Tenkawa is the male protagonist of Kidou Senkan Nadesico. A kind, reluctant pilot with a strong love of cooking, he is drawn into the chaos of the Nadesico after a tragic attack on Mars. Though often awkward and unwilling to fight, he becomes an important combat pilot and emotional center of the story. His pacifist tendencies, personal trauma, and growing relationships with the crew shape much of the series' drama and comedy.
