Overview
Renge Houshakuji is a recurring character in Ouran Koukou Host Club. She is the passionate, outspoken daughter of a wealthy family and a former online acquaintance of Haruhi’s. After meeting Tamaki, she becomes obsessed with the Host Club and positions herself as a self-appointed “manager,” often causing chaos with her dramatic, game-like view of romance. Her role is mainly comedic and disruptive, but she also helps highlight the absurdity of the Host Club and the social world around it.
