Hakata Toushirou is a sword boy from Touken Ranbu Online, based on the historical wakizashi Hakata-Ichimonji. He is portrayed as a cheerful, energetic, and money-loving character who often speaks in a Hakata dialect. In the series, he serves as one of the many Touken Danshi, warriors who are the human forms of famous Japanese swords. His role is to fight alongside other sword spirits to protect history from alteration while bringing a lively, comedic presence to the cast.
