Rock Light, known as Mega Man in the English adaptations, is the protagonist of the Rockman (Mega Man) series. Created by Dr. Thomas Light, Rock is a robot designed to be a lab assistant. However, when Dr. Light's colleague, Dr. Albert Wily, reprograms the robots for evil purposes, Rock volunteers to be converted into a battle robot to stop Wily's plans. Equipped with the Mega Buster and various abilities, Mega Man fights to maintain peace and protect humanity. His determination and sense of justice make him a beloved hero in the series.
