Overview
Aegis Gundam is a mobile suit from Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED, piloted primarily by Athrun Zala. It is a transforming Mobile Suit developed by ZAFT and serves as one of the five Gundams stolen from the Earth Alliance. In the series, Aegis plays a major role in early battles and becomes especially important through its combat against the Strike Gundam. Its distinctive transformable design and close-combat capabilities make it one of the most memorable suits in the story.
