Overview
Seishuu Handa is the main protagonist of Barakamon, a talented but prideful calligrapher. After a public outburst at an exhibition, he is sent to the remote Gotō Islands to reflect on himself and improve his work. There, he slowly changes through his interactions with the local villagers, especially the energetic girl Naru. His journey focuses on personal growth, humility, and rediscovering the meaning of his art and life.
