Overview
Nightmare Luffy is a temporary powered-up form of Monkey D. Luffy in One Piece, created when a large number of shadows are inserted into his body by Gecko Moria's powers during the Thriller Bark arc. In this state, Luffy becomes dramatically stronger, larger, and more aggressive, allowing him to fight formidable enemies and protect his allies. He is not a separate character, but a transformed version of the series' main protagonist, serving as a dramatic combat highlight in the arc.
