Overview
Darunia is the chief of the Gorons in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, a proud and strong-willed leader who initially distrusts outsiders. He lives in Death Mountain and helps Link after being persuaded to lift the Goron spirit and rescue his people from danger. As a Sage, he becomes the Sage of Fire, playing a key role in awakening the Fire Temple and advancing the story. He is remembered for his imposing presence, loyalty, and protective nature toward the Gorons.
