Overview
Armisael is one of the Angels in Neon Genesis Evangelion (Shin Seiki Evangelion), appearing as the Sixteenth Angel. It is a highly unusual, ring-shaped Angel that attacks by merging with its target and invading their mind and body. Armisael plays a major role in the series by confronting Rei Ayanami and Shinji Ikari, creating one of the most psychologically intense battles in the show. Its presence highlights the series’ themes of identity, isolation, and the boundary between self and others.
