Overview
Red Spartan is a member of the Spartan super-soldier program in Halo 3, identified by the red armor color used by one of the game’s multiplayer teams rather than as a uniquely named individual. In the series’ story context, Spartans are elite human warriors created to fight the Covenant and other threats to humanity. Red Spartan represents the player’s customizable Spartan avatar in competitive modes, standing in for the larger UNSC military force and the franchise’s theme of disciplined, technologically enhanced combat.
