Overview
Rurio is a minor character from Hoozuki no Reitetsu, appearing in the series' depiction of the afterlife and its many strange residents. He is a youthful, somewhat androgynous boy associated with the demon world and its comedic bureaucracy. Rurio is used mainly as a side character to add flavor to the setting and to highlight the absurd, deadpan humor of the series. His presence helps enrich the worldbuilding by showing the variety of personalities that populate the underworld.
