Overview
Tooi Kuji is one of the three main protagonists of Sarazanmai. He is a middle school boy who becomes involved in the story’s supernatural conflict after being transformed into a kappa and drawn into the “Sarazanmai” process. Tooi is calm, sharp-witted, and often acts as the most pragmatic member of the group. Beneath his composed exterior, he carries emotional pain and complicated family circumstances, which shape his actions and relationships throughout the series.
