Overview
Oscar, Astora no Joukyuu Kishi, is the knight from Astora who appears at the beginning of Dark Souls. He is a wounded but honorable warrior imprisoned in the Undead Asylum, where he helps set the player’s journey in motion by giving the key and explaining the fate of the Chosen Undead. Oscar serves as a brief but memorable guide and symbol of duty, sacrifice, and the fading age of knights in the world of Dark Souls.
