Overview
Wakizashi is a class of sword spirit characters in Touken Ranbu Online, representing the Japanese wakizashi blade. Rather than a single named individual, Wakizashi refers to a type of sword man who appears as part of the game’s cast of historical weapon-based characters. In the series, these characters are summoned by the Saniwa to protect history from enemies. Wakizashi characters generally serve as agile, supportive fighters, often depicted as quick and versatile in battle.
