Overview
Mari Tamaki is one of the four main protagonists of Sora yori mo Tooi Basho (A Place Further Than the Universe). She is an energetic, outspoken high school girl who becomes the driving force behind the group’s journey to Antarctica. Motivated by a desire to do something meaningful before graduation, she helps inspire and unite the others. Mari’s optimism, curiosity, and emotional honesty make her the heart of the series, and her growth reflects the story’s themes of friendship, courage, and self-discovery.
