Overview
GR-2 is a giant robot from Giant Robo: The Day the Earth Stood Still. It is one of the powerful robots associated with the International Police Organization and serves as a major combat unit in the series. GR-2 is portrayed as a formidable mechanical ally in the conflict against the Big Fire organization. Unlike human characters, it has no personal identity or conventional family name, so its designation is simply GR-2 in both English and Japanese contexts.
