Overview
Takao Nishikata is the male protagonist of Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san. He is a middle school student who is easily flustered and frequently outwitted by his classmate Takagi, who enjoys teasing him. Despite his competitive spirit and constant attempts to win against her, he usually ends up embarrassed or fooled. Nishikata’s role in the series is central to the comedy and romantic tension, as his reactions and growing feelings drive much of the story.
