Overview
Issun is a tiny, sharp-tongued artist and traveling companion in Okami who serves as a guide, commentator, and comic relief. He accompanies Amaterasu on her quest to restore the world, offering advice, encouragement, and occasional mischief. Though small in size, he is brave, resourceful, and often surprisingly insightful. His role in the series is both practical and narrative: he helps explain the world, drives the story forward, and adds humor and personality to the adventure.
