Overview
Arumi Asahino is a main character in Abenobashi Mahou Shotengai. She is Satoshi’s childhood friend and companion as he becomes trapped in bizarre alternate versions of the Abenobashi shopping district. Practical, outspoken, and often more grounded than Satoshi, Arumi helps drive the story’s emotional core. Her role is central to the duo’s journey home, and her reactions to the surreal worlds provide both comedy and contrast to the series’ increasingly chaotic fantasy and sci-fi adventures.
