Overview
Nello Daas is the young protagonist of Flanders no Inu (Dog of Flanders), a kind-hearted and talented orphan boy living in Belgium. He dreams of becoming a painter and helps his grandfather, Jehan, while forming a deep bond with the dog Patrasche. Nello is known for his innocence, perseverance, and love of art, but his tragic circumstances lead to a heartbreaking ending.
