Overview
Lautrec of Carim is a supporting character in Dark Souls, known as the “Knight of the Goddess.” He is a gold-armored, enigmatic knight who can be encountered imprisoned early in the game. After being freed, he later returns as a dangerous NPC invader and assassin. Lautrec plays a key role in the Fire Keeper questline, as his actions can lead to the murder of the Fire Keeper at Firelink Shrine. He is memorable for his sinister nature, distinctive armor, and his connection to betrayal and dark lore.
