Daijirou Oohara is the strict but caring station chief in Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Kouen-mae Hashutsujo (Kochikame). He is the boss of the Kameari Police Box and serves as a steady authority figure amid the chaos caused by the officers around him, especially Ryotsu. Though often frustrated by their antics, he is respected for his sense of duty, discipline, and strong moral compass. He represents order, responsibility, and the everyday police work at the heart of the series.
