Overview
Kenichi Shirahama is the main protagonist of Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi. He is a shy, weak, and bullied high school student who begins training at the Ryozanpaku dojo to become stronger and protect others. Throughout the series, he grows through intense martial arts training and faces powerful enemies while developing courage, determination, and self-confidence. His role is central to the story, serving as the underdog hero whose progress drives much of the action and comedy.
